Getting Acquainted with Urban Water Management course

A two-day course to help candidates understand the fundamentals of urban water supply systems, with an emphasis on efficient and accurate metering.
 
Attend this course and learn about:
  • The water cycle and water treatment processes
  • The basic requirements for a functional water supply system
  • The components of water meters and how to
  • correctly size and install meters
  • The specialist skills required

The course is aimed at (but not limited to):

  • Staff involved in maintaining water supply networks in an urban environment
  • Staff employed in local government and involved in the planning, design, operations and maintenance of urban water supply networks or about to become involved in the field
  • Candidate engineers, technologists and technicians
  • Experienced personnel looking for a refresher in urban water supply

CPD

This course is accredited with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and carries two CPD credits.
